The unique architecture of this apartment, located in a historic building, presented an exciting design challenge. The non-standard layout, with its distinctive bay windows and asymmetrical exterior walls, required a thoughtful and creative approach. We are proud to have transformed these architectural complexities into defining features of the space. The result is an elegant open-plan living area seamlessly connected to the dining room and kitchen, with each zone thoughtfully designed to feel like an individual, intimate room.
The entire interior—especially the living and dining areas—is designed as a delicate and elegant frame for the client’s rare vase collection. To showcase this collection, we custom-designed and produced bespoke cupboards and decorative alcoves with integrated spotlights, thoughtfully crafted to display each unique and fragile piece. This carefully curated presentation highlights the client’s treasured collection, seamlessly blending it into the design to enrich and elevate the overall aesthetic of the space.
In the dining room, we introduced the Terzo bar by Bruno Moinard, crafted from rich walnut with ceramic inserts. Its bold, geometric design echoes the façades of Brutalist architecture from the 1950s and 60s. This striking piece harmonises beautifully with the dining table sourced from Holly Hunt, creating a cohesive and sophisticated atmosphere.
