The brief was to design a spacious, open-plan apartment for a wonderful family. The clients—a dynamic husband-and-wife team of accomplished lawyers with an exceptional sense of humor — are devoted parents to energetic children who love vibrant colors and playful, unexpected design details.
The centrally positioned hall serves as the foundation for the apartment's layout, naturally dividing the space into zones. Two symmetrical portals guide the flow — one leading to the private quarters on the right and the other opening into the communal areas on the left, including the living room, kitchen, and dining room. The bold use of rich red terracotta in this space is an unconventional design choice that captivates and leaves a lasting impression the moment you step inside.
Anna Agapova gave careful consideration to the overall backdrop in every space. In the living area, the handmade wallpaper from Anna's Caledonia collection stands out. The Low Tide design, inspired by the gentle ripples of ocean waves, creates a serene ambiance, enhancing the peaceful atmosphere of the lounge.
The painting is by Svetlana Atahanova.
The sculpture is by Salvador Dalí.

The kitchen island serves as the artistic focal point of the open-plan living area. On one side, it offers practicality with hidden cabinets, drawers, and essential appliances. On the other side, however, it reveals a stunning botanical bas-relief, enhanced by architectural lighting. This unique piece was created specifically for the project. The organic theme flows into the dining area, where a custom-made table with a solid wood top by designer Tom Faulkner takes center stage. Not only is the table highly functional, but it also serves as the perfect design element for families who love to entertain.

In the hall leading to the kids’ zone, we displayed the bright painting “Gaspar’s Holidays” by Henry Mashtoz. The artwork depicts the artist’s idea of how kids could perceive their first holidays.
