“Elemental Flux” is a visual representation of the dynamic and interconnected nature of our world. The external contour of the artwork is determined by gently spiralling curves representing the layers of Earth’s atmosphere. At the core of the piece are five rings. While one can’t escape an association with the Olympic rings, here they symbolise the fundamental five elements of nature: earth, water, fire, air, and space. Each of these elements is permeated by a thread holding a heavy stone at the end. It appears that the rock has violently crashed through each and every element - a poignant reminder of the fast-paced change and inevitable transformations occurring within our environment.

"With Elemental Flux, I wanted to capture the delicate balance of our world—how each element is intricately connected, yet vulnerable to the forces of change. The suspended stone serves as a powerful metaphor for the impact we leave on nature, reminding us that our actions have a lasting imprint on the fragile harmony of our planet."

“Elemental Flux should be perceived as a call for sustainable living and respect for nature. It reminds us that the changes we witness in the world are not isolated events, but rather interconnected phenomena that affect all elements of our natural environment. Through sustainable practices and a deeper appreciation for the beauty and complexity of nature, we can strive to restore balance and harmony to our world.
